Description
OL 500/800 DG HP – a semi-automatically operated gantry type bandsaw cutting machine for industrial usage and ultimate application both for straight and miter cutting of solids, pipes and profiles of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This model is especially oriented for pipes and profiles cutting.
In the model OL 500/800 DG HP has many built-in functions allowing pipes and profiles cutting for building constructions at the industrial conditions of exploitation as well as solid materials of steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metals of all qualities.
The semi-automatic cycle is like this: material clamping, main motor starts running, cutting process, saw bow goes upwards, material releasing, main motor stops.
The construction of the machine OL 340/630 DG HP permits easy and fast saw bow setting for miter cutting at the range of 45° at right 90° up to 30° at left with accuracy of 0,1° by the digital read-out display. The center point of the saw bow rotation is in coincidence with the cross point between the cutting blade with the immovable jaws plane and for that reason the cut bar length doesn’t change when cutting at an angle.
The cutting cycle is automatic without operator action – the saw bow goes down via its gravitation force and the feeding speed is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder and a feeding speed control valve.
The cutting speed is assured by an asynchrony electric motor and it is frequency controlled at the range of 15÷100 m/min.
The machine OL 500/800 DG HP belongs to the category of semi-automatic machines equipped with a hydraulic system, allowing automation of many working operations (material clamping in the vice, saw bow movement up and down), and a cutting force control. The machine is equipped with a system for automatic tracking both of the feeding speed and the cutting force. At the cutting feed extremely increasing the saw bow slows automatically to its full stop and smoothly increasing up to the set value after the cutting force is normalized.
